The title for this week's sermon is "Wood, Beams and Sawdust". The message is from Matthew 7:1-5 as we continue our study in the series of "The Sermon on the Mount."

We will be providing lunch for the men at Jericho Road in Patterson, tomorrow -- Sunday, May 20th.
We will leave from the church immediately following the service. If you signed up for a main dish, please bring it cooked, warm and ready to serve. Salad ingredients should be prepared ahead of time, arriving ready to toss.

The kids of the King from Hawthorne Christian Academy will be with us to perform a concert tomorrow night, Sunday, May 20th at 6:00 PM. A refreshment time will follow.
Please come out and support these kids that work so hard all year to prepare for this concert. You will be blessed!

During the Summer, we will be holding the Foundations Membership Class on Sunday mornings for anyone interested in membership. A sign-up sheet is available at the back table. See Pastor Jeff for more information.

This Sunday, May 12th is Mother's Day. Don't forget to remember your mom!

M - O - T - H - E - R
"M" is for the million things she gave me,

"R" means right, and right she'll always be,

"MOTHER,"
A word that means the world to me.

May 27th is the last day of our regular schedule. On June 3rd, our summer schedule begins. There will be no Sunday School or ABF for the months of June, July, and August. Morning worship will begin at 10:30 AM. All Youth groups and children's ministries will be on break for the summer as well.

We will be providing Sunday lunch for the men at Jericho Road Homeless Shelter on May 2oth. We will be leaving immediately following the morning service. If you are cooking the meal, please bring it cooked and hot in a disposable "steam pan" that fits a steam rack.

This Sunday, May 6th, we will be having a Communion Dinner. Following the Worship Service there will be a 5 minute "intermission", after which we will celebrate the Lord's Table in the Sanctuary --The Dinner will follow in the Fellowship Hall. Everyone is invited!
*All families are asked to bring a "covered dish" to share.
*Bring your dish cooked, and in a crock-pot if possible.
*Bring at least, one bottle of soda per family.
*Dessert -- optional.
