Today - Sunday, January 18th all Sunday School, ABF classes and Morning Worship are cancelled due to the icy weather conditions. The stewardship meeting and lunch are rescheduled for next Sunday, January 25th. Stay home and be safe!
Joining with your church family in prayer on Wednesday nights would be a wonderful spiritual practice for you to begin s we enter this new year. Our prayer meeting begins with a short Bible message, then together we enter into prayer. If one does not feel comfortable praying out loud, you may sit quietly and pray along in your heart. Everyone is invited and encouraged to attend.
"Continue steadfastly in prayer, being watchful in it with thanksgiving." Colossians 4:2
Ladies Bible Study will resume from it's holiday break on Thursday, January 15th. The study meets from 9:30-11:00 AM. All ladies are invited to attend. For more information please contact Judy Melen.
"Go and make disciples of all nations" is not only the great commission but also the great challenge facing churches today. This sermon will seek to outline a vision for Grace Baptist Church in this regard.
Our annual Stewardship Meeting will take place on Sunday, January 18th, following the Morning Service. A lite lunch will be served during the meeting. Everyone is invited to attend the meeting, however, only members of GBC are permitted a voice and a vote.
For the lunch please bring: a plate of sandwiches - enough for your family and to share; a bag of your favorite chips; a 2 liter bottle of beverage; salad & dessert are optional.
Variety night has been rescheduled for January 24th. A new sign-up list for performances is available. Please sign-up as soon as possible, spots are limited. Your "act" can be singing, playing a musical instrument, a reading or poem, a comedy routine, etc. use your imagination! It will be a night of fun and fellowship!
We will be having a Communion Dinner following the Morning Service on February 8th. More information will be forth coming.
Our Christmas Eve Service is a time of worship and exaltation of our Lord Jesus Christ. Please join us, and invite a friend!
Everyone is invited to join us at our open house on January 1st at the parsonage. You are invited to come and share in a time of food and fellowship on New Year's day. Drinks and desserts will be provided - please bring a finger food to share.
